The first release of InterStream. A track's audio out on the network, as an NDI® audio feed and as an SRT stream, while the track carries on untouched with zero added latency.
- The track is never changed: every setting acts on the feeds only, and the host is told zero latency, which is what it gets.
- NDI®: full-bandwidth audio at the session's own rate, named after the track, on by default. A name already sent from the same computer goes out numbered, and the panel says so and counts the receivers.
- SRT, off by default: MPEG-TS with AAC at 96 to 192 kbps or uncompressed 24-bit PCM (SMPTE 302M), both at 48 kHz. Caller or listener, LATENCY, STREAM ID and an AES-128 PASSPHRASE; a whole srt:// address pasted into HOST fills the fields it carries.
- Each output has its own LEVEL, BUFFER, meter and dropout count. ACTIVE off stops both feeds.
- Received by InterDirector and OBS, and by InterStream between a Mac and a PC in both directions, for both outputs.
- It works fully for 14 days from the first time it runs on a computer, with no key. After that the track and the feeds are silent until a licence key is activated. A key works on two computers, and a Suite key covers InterStream as well.
- macOS asks to let your host use the local network the first time InterStream sends, and as a listener the firewall may ask to accept connections. Allow them, or neither feed reaches anyone.
